Two months later, the company has a lot more to share, starting with a name: CLAAS FARMPOINT™

“CLAAS FARMPOINT represents a dynamic shift in the typical implement dealership organizational structure and facilities. Instead of being a traditional bricks and mortar destination for farmers, it’s a physical and virtual launching point for parts, service, and equipment destined for the farm,” explained Patricio Frangella, Head of Commercial Development – NA, who oversees operations for CLAAS FARMPOINT. “The focus of CLAAS FARMPOINT is to meet you where you do business – on your farm. With that in mind, CLAAS FARMPOINT locations will be highly streamlined and focused on delivering best-in-class parts availability, a select number of service bays but a high degree of focus on remote service. The vast majority of the action will take place with a team of mobile service technicians, active parts dispatch direct to the farm or technician, and account managers right where the equipment lives, for maximum up time and greater support.”

According to Frangella, the first CLAAS FARMPOINT location will be in Madisonville, KY. A temporary location has been secured and will be open for business no later than June 2023, with work beginning on the permanent location shortly. The new location will serve the needs of CLAAS customers in both Kentucky and neighboring parts of southern Indiana in addition to today’s service and parts provided by Ag Revolution.

Those with questions about the new dealership and its locations can visit  for more information or email farmpoint@claas.com.

Robert’s Farm Equipment Sales Acquires Earth Power Tractors /news/roberts-farm-equipment-sales-acquires-earth-power-tractors/ Tue, 24 May 2022 16:40:21 +0000 /?p=18059 Earth Power’s Owen Sound and Meaford locations will switch to Robert’s July 1st 2022.

Chesley, ON—Friday May 20,2022—Robert’s Farm Equipment Sales Inc. will acquire the Owen Sound and Meaford locations of Earth Power Tractors and Equipment in a deal set to finalize June 30th, 2022. The Stayner location of Earth Power is not part of the acquisition.

“There was an opportunity for us to work with Earth Power and keep that business thriving. Our thought was, if we can continue to develop the Kubota brand in Grey and Bruce counties, then we should,” said Brian Osterndorff, President of Robert’s Farm Equipment Sales Inc.

“Leaving a legacy of a very successful Kubota One dealership was important to us. That’s a big reason why we selected Robert’s Farm Equipment; they’re family owned and operated, in addition to already being a Kubota dealer. So, the fit is very natural,” said Cindy Barton, Earth Power spokesperson and daughter of the late Jim Kelly, who owned and operated Earth Power since 1998.

All Earth Power employees have been guaranteed gainful employment with Robert’s Farm Equipment, and the locations will remain as they are, apart from a new name and branding come July. New and existing customers can expect the same high level of service and support, but with a wider range of product offerings and available resources.

“We’re excited to offer the customer base the same level of service and support they were used to receiving from Earth Power, with the added bonus of more short line products and other products not previously available,” said Osterndorff.

“It’s bittersweet, but I also feel we’re selling to a business that has the same philosophy around serving customers and treating employees well. I feel we’re in the right position to sell, and have made the best decision in selecting Robert’s Farm Equipment,” said Barton.

Dealer News – Fraud Alleged /shortliner/dealer-news-fraud-alleged/ Wed, 18 May 2022 18:20:07 +0000 /?p=17986 CNH Industrial Capital America LLC filed a complaint in the Eastern District of Arkansas against Venture Equipment, LLC and Steve Merrit alleging breach of contract and fraud.

CNH alleges that on March 7, 2022, it conducted an onsite inventory audit of its collateral and found that 225 of the secured assets were unaccounted for.

The complaint further alleges that the majority of the assets were sold out of trust by Venture and the sale proceeds converted with the other being purely fictitious trade-ins causing CNH to advance funds with those proceeds also being converted to Venture. CNH argues that this fraudulent action resulted in Venture converting $5,109,514.24 of proceeds that should have been paid to CNH.

CNH alleges that Merrit admitted to concealing the sale of secured assets by misrepresenting the financial condition of Venture. The complaint purports that Merritt admitted to assigning 151 retail financing contracts to CNH with a value of $9,241,724.29, that were forgeries, fraudulent and/or violated the RFA resulting in $5,895,268.08 outstanding balance to CNH. CNH argues that the defendants intentionally misrepresented its assets and liabilities to appear as if it was not in breach of its contracts with CNH.
