Earlier that day, at the Association鈥檚 annual business meeting, Jenny Steffensmeier owner of Steffensmeier Welding & Mfg., Inc. in Pilot Grove, IA, was elected to fill a vacated board seat. Additionally, Marc Adams, Vice President of Sales at GBGI Inc, in Chardon, OH, was also elected to a three-year term as the Supplier Section Representative.

Member companies also re-elected additional directors whose terms had expired this year. This included Marc Ivey, Phil Landoll, Roger Murdock, Kat Coombes, Manager at Tillage Management in Tulare, CA, and Clair Ellis, Manager of Ellis Equipment in Wellsville, UT. They were elected to an additional three-year term as their current terms expired.

Joe Sampson, CEO/Founder of Embo Sales Consulting, LLC, concluded his role as Supplier Section Rep on the Board of Directors. We wish to express our gratitude to Joe for the significant contributions he has dedicated to our Association.

Hellbusch is part of the third generation to lead Duo Lift Manufacturing, a family-owned business known for producing specialty farm trailers and wagons like fertilizer tank trailers and combine head haulers. He began his career at Duo Lift in 2007 in the sales department, moved to operations in 2010, and has been in his current role as Vice President since then. Growing up, Hellbusch worked in the factory and on the family farm, and he holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in business administration with a focus on management from the University of Nebraska鈥揕incoln.

He lives in Columbus with his wife Lisa, and their three children: Noah, Emery, and Kensley. The family enjoys kids’ sports, traveling, outdoor activities, and attending both Nebraska Huskers and Iowa State Cyclones events.

Leading the Association as president will be Craig Harthoorn, President of Oxbo Forage Division. The company is a leading manufacturer of hay and forage equipment, including forage boxes, manure spreaders, and hay rakes.

Jared Nobbe was elected as Vice Chair to the NAEDA Board. Nobbe is a partner in Syndenstricker Nobbe Partners (SNP), a 27 store John Deere dealership with locations in Illinois and Missouri. Other NAEDA officer positions include Wally Butler (Mazergroup, Canada Region) as Treasurer and Joanne Olson as Corporate Secretary.

Chad Fossey was also elected as a new Director for NAEDA鈥檚 Pacific Northwest Region. Fossey is the general manager of Campbell Tractor, a 6 store John Deere dealer complex in Idaho and Oregon.

The company designs and manufactures trailers and running gears for agricultural, commercial, and industrial markets for several standard and custom models. Hellbusch is the second executive from the company to be elected president.

That鈥檚 when my father, Tom Burenga, was elected to the board. I was part of a generation of sons and daughters of board members who became childhood friends and are now leaders in their families鈥� businesses. Our companies are built on designing innovative products that improve farm operations, and we are made better by the resources and opportunities available to us through the Association.鈥�

Harthoorn is the newest member of this leadership team. He has been in the agriculture industry for more than 35 years and president of H&S since 2017. He said he is 鈥渉umbled鈥� to be elected as an officer and 鈥減roud to be part of this strong and vibrant Association.鈥�

Before the election of officers, convention attendees met for the Association鈥檚 annual membership business meeting and re-elected directors whose terms expired this year. Directors re-elected were Burenga, Hellbusch, Harthoorn, Brad Baker with Salford Group and Scott Eisenmenger with West Point Design.
